It took two decades to reveal that most of the portentous announcements made by AIDS experts and media are wrong.
In a paper published in the renowned British Medical Journal, Roger England states: “It is no longer heresy to point out that far too much is spent on HIV relative to other needs and that this is damaging health systems“.(1)
“For over twenty years, the general public has been greatly misled and ill-informed“, says Rebecca Culshaw, a scientist who works on mathematical models of HIV infection. (2)
And a ten-year study conducted by the US physician Dr Padian involving 176 couples, each with one HIV-positive and one HIV-negative partner, yielded a sobering result: not a single “infection“ of any of the HIV-negative partners despite unprotected sexual contacts. (3)
Has the virus become harmless?
No, it has always been harmless - an endogenous virus (i.e. produced naturally in the body) such as may occur in any healthy placenta. Faulty interpretations of observations will inevitably lead to flawed conclusions. False forecasts, invariably failing attempts to develop vaccines, HIV-positive individuals who have been in perfect health for twenty years, lack of infectivity etc. All of this manifestly suggests what critical physicians and scientists have argued since the very beginning: acquired immunodeficiencies can be caused by a variety of factors, but they are not the result of a nasty retrovirus.
Unfortunately we are inclined to attach more credibility to thoughts that have become familiar, a phenomenon that is also - indeed especially - typical of scientists. Questioning such thoughts is frequently tantamount to sacrilege, an affront to a sacred truth, in complete unawareness of its falseness and of the circumstances that have contributed to its existence. Habit is a form of passive resistance to overdue breakthroughs. Once on track, a train will run in one direction. In whose interest is it that something remains “true“, stays the way it has always been? The answer to this question lies in the active resistance to long overdue changes.
The Congress “AIDS between knowledge and dogma – Conditions for the emergence and decline of scientific theories” will discuss highly relevant questions concerning the foundations of our health system on the example of the tunnel vision with regard to HIV/AIDS.
