The Treatment Information Group was a public interest initiative in South Africa, active mainly in the 2000s.
It was founded by Anthony Brink at the request of then-President Thabo Mbeki in 2002, relayed by Professor Sam Mhlongo, to promote research-based debate of 'antiretroviral drug' policy, 'HIV' testing issues, and 'HIV' itself.
This is a legacy website, lightly reorganised and modernised. The links in the former right-hand sidebar have been moved into the new Menu, and the chemical hazard warning information has been updated and expanded, but the site is otherwise essentially the same as when it was built and launched in 2004 and expanded over the years, hence its preserved old look.
